There are a ton of butt toning exercises out there. But this is one of my favorite ones because it’s easy and very effective. You don’t need any special equipment not even shoes.
As with any exercise, good form is imperative. Here’s is how to do it the exercise properly:
Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor near your butt and hip-width apart. Keeping your knees in line, extend one leg. On your exhale, squeeze your glutes and push your hips up towards the ceiling as high as you can. Pause, then lower until your butt hovers right above the floor, and repeat 12 times on each side without touching the ground. That is one set. If you like, you can go for a second set after a short break.
