Finally, we were blessed with much needed rain and snow here in California. I have taken advantage of it and ventured to the Lake Tahoe (CA) region to surf down the snowy hills with some skiing friends. What a great time and season we all had. I snowboarded a number of days at Squaw/Alpine Ski Resort and also at Kirkwood Ski Resort. And one time, I even made original Swiss Cheese Fondue from scratch. Yum!
The past four years have been so meager with very little snow. This was definitely a nice change. Let’s hope we continued to get more rain and hopefully also some snow again in the next season to come. I am already looking to upgrade my old snowboard and boots and already purchased my Mountain Collective Pass 2016/2017. Woo hoo!
